cname has been changed and it’s still the same…www.www.mustangdriver.com
Now you have to wait for propagation delay and DNS caching issues. That can take up to 48 hours. I checked the DNS server and they have made the change. It will change and be resolved then.
They did say that, hopefully it will work. thanks for checking
Hi Mark! This redirect error you’re seeing is caused by setting the root domain as your default domain.
If you set your www version of your domain as the default domain and republish your site that should resolve the issue right away.
Here is some additional information:
Please let me know if this solves the problem. Or if you have any questions, I’m happy to help further
That is a setting I can’t see
Webflow video instructions were to set it to MustangDriver.com?
In the Webflow setup it says that www.mustangdriver.com is not connected?
I did set it to www.mustangdriver.com and it is still www.www…
Im lost what to do and every change is another 48hrs…
Breath…
Godaddy has the value of proxy-ssl.webslow.com
. instead of proxy-ssl.webflow.com
. They need to fix that. Staring at 10pt type in a console made that error hard to see.
Don’t worry about the “48 hours”. There are ways to push that time line up.
I fixed the spelling, hosting page says it still not connected and browser still shows www.www
the hosting page now says that Webflow and go daddy ARE connected so I guess it’s just a matter of waiting
I updated OpenDNS’s and Cloudflare’s DNS cache for you. Your site is now resolving and loading for me. So it is working.
yea, working somewhat… if I check on my phone its working on my desktop still www.www tried clearing cache still www.www?
awesome you get it working, Webflow emailed me about that opendns and such but again all that’s over my head.
working on desktop now - Awesome help!!! thanks.
Great. Think how easy your next domain will be and good luck with your project!
ha, I learned nothing but what a hassle it is to set this up.
The same problem… It’s not always fun to host Webflow’s sites
