Wildcard Redirect does not seem to be working on external domain

Hello,

We’re trying to set up a redirect for all of our blog articles. We want the following sort of redirect: /blog/ARTICLE-NAME to https://blog.mighty.com/ARTICLE-NAME. I’ve set up the redirect in webflow but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

@rngu it looks like you might be trying to point to an external site rather than internal pages.

The 301 wildcard re-direct would work for your site re-directs if you set it up like:

Old Path: /blog/(.*)

Redirect to Page: /%1

Is it possible to combine the wildcard redirect with an external site? We do want to re-direct to an external site, not an internal page.

@rngu great question! At this time it’s only possible to use wildcard re-directs for pages in your Webflow hosted site.

You can setup regular 301 re-directs on a page by page basis to external links but the wildcard re-directs only work when re-directing to pages in the Webflow hosted site where you’re setting up the re-directs.
