Wider Container / DIV Block Solution

Hi everyone I know there is a lot of posts out there talking about a workaround to the 960 container. One of those solutions is creating a div block with the max width of your choice (1110px.)

The issue I find with this is columns automatically add 10px padding on the inside of the left and right. Within a default container, this still allows all items to line up consistently. Inside the custom div container, the columns are offset. You will see a close up below.

Now i understand i can always remove the padding to have the text and imagery line up but then that would cause a secondary issue by not have any padding in between the two images you will see in the second image.

Does anyone know a workaround for this? Also, WEBFLOW do you have a timeline on when you expect custom media queries / containers to be released?

(Top group of images are in a container. Bottom group of images are in a div)

You may need to use combination of padding and negative margin to get everything lining up.
