Where to upload files on Webflow website to let customers download

Hi! I am done with the client website in Webflow and about ready to migrate.

They are using WordPress today and here they have a lot of pdf files uploaded that their visitors are downloading. Where can I upload pdf files on webflow to allow visitors to download files? If not possible, any tips on how I can solve this? How to easily let customers download documents from the website in webflow.

Use the asset panel. Note: assets uploaded can’t be restricted from public access when the URL is known. You can create redirects from your old URI to the new one (grab that in the assets panel inspecting the individual asset).

Supported files

The Assets panel supports most image file types, the document types listed below, and Lottie JSON animation files.

Supported image file extensions:

  • PNG
  • JPEG and JPG
  • GIF
  • SVG

Supported document file types:

  • PDF
  • DOC and DOCX
  • XLS and XLSX
  • PPT and PPTX
  • TXT
  • CSV
  • ODT
  • ODS
  • ODP

Supported Lottie file types:

  • JSON (only Lottie type)
