What Happens to Translations if I Disable Webflow Locale?

Hi everyone,

I’ve translated my entire Webflow site into English & German using the Webflow Localization feature. Now, I’m considering disabling the German locale but want to be sure about what happens next.

Will all my German-translated content be permanently deleted, means ZERO load on hosting resources for this GERMAN version? everything will be gone with a just one toggle disable option?

Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you asking about bandwidth reduction?
Broadly, localization doesn’t add any bandwidth load to begin with, since that’s only based on traffic and assets.

It’s likely that neither would change substantially, except perhaps if you have strong SEO on your German pages and eventually get delisted from search engines.
