Hi there!
My website is ranking critically low on Google Search. It’s effectively absent from search results — when you type in “XTR Human” on Google, you won’t see the website anywhere. Maybe it’ll show up somewhere on the 20th page, but that clearly won’t do.
I’ve done a little research and I assume this is likely happening due to the “internal search spam” or “Asian links hack”.
When I checked the website in Google Console, I found that there are 30.000+ unindexed but crawled links with Asian characters:
I disabled the links from being indexed by adding “User-agent: * Disallow: /*?s=” to the Robots.txt file. But they are still being crawled, and this affects the ranking I assume.
I saw a couple of similar posts on the forum here, and people usually say these links won’t affect the SEO performance — but in my case, they clearly do.
Could please anyone help me fix this issue? I really need the website to appear in Google Search — otherwise, there’s no point in having the website at all…
Is there a way to prevent Google from crawling these links or to delete them altogether?
Any help would be much appreciated!!
Best,
A.
