Webflow NOT charging tax for out of state orders

Hey guys! Ok, so I’m developing a Webflow eCommerce website for one of my clients, and the site doesn’t seem to be charging tax for out of state orders, but it seems to be consistently charging tax for in-state orders. My client is based in, and ships out of, California, if that changes anything.

I’ve contacted Webflow support last week and got no answer, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction on what might be causing this problem.

Bumping as I am now experiencing the same issue. Did you ever find a resolution?

bit late but isnt tax only applied to those buying in the state the business is doing business in?

i know mass is trying to force out of state merchant to pay tax on items sold to mass residents but thats slates for july and has had some kickback.
