Webflow form submission styled by mailjet

Hi There, Has anyone used zapier and mailjet to style a form submission?

I have the apps linked and working, but I cannot figure out how to properly create the e-mail template using variables and I cannot find any resources on how to do it. It seems the variables are different in mailjet compared to webflow, but either way I’ve tried both ways with no success.

So I have zapier → mailjet e-mail template. You can also send the form data to mailjet via HTML but I haven’t tried that.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Aaron

I’ve done this, and it works well, but it’s been awhile so I’m not fresh on the details.
I recall in the Mailjet transactional template you create {{ fields }} and then in your API call you supply their content.

There might be an intermediate step where you need to declare those fields in a part of the template’s configuration, before they are recognized. But I may be thinking of a different system here.

Those fields have nothing to do with Webflow. They have everything to do with what you’ll submit from Zapier.

Build that part first- a demo Zap that sends you an email with some fixed custom fields.

Then attach it to your Webflow or webhook trigger, and do your field mapping ( Webflow field name to Mailjet field name ), and complete your submit.

Thank you so much for the quick reply Michael. I got your e-mail as well, and I will let you know if we need to actually hire you. Thanks again!
