Webflow adress and SEO

Good morning,

I am creating my website for my sound company, to do visualization tests I published my site on the default webflow address: https://sono-21195e.webflow.io/

When I publish it on this address, is it already possible for visitors to find my site on Google?
Or it’s just a private link only visible to me ?

Thanks !

Here is my site Read-Only: LINK

Hey Kiemar,
Yes its possible for Google to index your webflow sub domain and show it to visitors.
To prevent that follow this tutorial
https://university.webflow.com/lesson/disable-search-engine-indexing?topics=site-settings#how-to-disable-indexing-of-the-webflow-subdomain
Best Dave

  1. Go to Site settings > SEO tab > Indexing section
  2. Set Disable Webflow subdomain indexing to “On
  3. Click Save changes and publish your site

They’re very public.

They’re also a bit of a pain to remove from Google SERPs when they compete with your primary site. Best to switch on that “suppress indexing” option as early as you can as it delivers a different robots.txt, which won’t de-list pages that have already been indexed.
