I have purchased the Vertad theme from the pre-made templates on Webflow. I am trying to edit the navigation menu for this theme but for the life of me cannot figure out how to get it to show in the editor to make changes to it.
If anyone else has had this problem any help would be greatly appreciated.
First off, it looks like you have the Menu symbol duplicated. Unless you have a specific reason for this, you can delete one of them.
Double-click on the Menu symbol. You’ll see here that the green ‘Back to instance’ button indicates that you’re editing inside a Symbol, which is like a super-simple solution to display the same element across multiple pages (like a menu).
The first element inside the Menu symbol is labeled Menu Section, and you’ll notice it has this symbol next to it: That means it is hidden from view, which is why you don’t see it in the editor. It’s set up this way usually to work with an interaction tied to the element.
So, all you have to do is select Menu Section in the list, then change the Layout setting on the right-hand side to Block, and you can see and edit your menu as normal.
Just be sure to switch it back to Hidden when you’re done. Let me know if this solved your issue, or if I can answer any further questions!
Happy to help! Would you mind taking a moment to click the Solution button on my previous post? It’ll help other users who may stumble on this thread with a similar issue. Thanks!
