UX SNAFU: Gradients automatically changed to solid colors

When creating a gradient, if the two chosen colors are the same hexcode Webflow will automatically convert them to a single solid color. This makes it very very annoying to try and create an opacity gradient based on the same color, even #000.

I assume the design is meant to be intelligent, but unfortunately it requires a workflow workaround. In this case, over-designing is broken for a common use case!

Changed the category to bugs because this is what it is and has been for who knows how long. I’d love to see this finally fixed.

I’ve had the same problem as I’m sure others have. Been working around it but a fix would be appreciated.
