Upgrading to basic with a CMS and E-commerce template

I have purchased a template and am building out my site. It is a static site and I will not need CMS or Ecommerce features, but the template does contain both of these types of pages.

I emailed support and they sent me a link to remove CMS from the website, but that also removes the CMS template page, which I would like to retain. I’ve asked support for a way to do that a week ago and I’m still waiting for a response.

In the meantime, I wanted to check if any folks here have had a similar experience and how you handled it.

I’m currently on the free plan, and I cannot create anymore new pages. I don’t want to upgrade to CMS tier for just an hour’s worth of shuffling.

I want to reuse the layout (which is one of conveniences of purchasing a template!!).

The only other unhinged workaround I can think of is to copy out the elements of template pages to one of the existing pages. Remove the CMS and E-commerce. Upgrade to basic and then move all of the templates to individual pages.

Anybody else have any less cumbersome workarounds that worked for them?

Thank you!
