Site usage still counting items already deleted

Hi there,

We have just been hit by several “you are over your bandwidth” notices, so I’ve been reducing the amount of heavy items on the site, specially background videos.

The Site Usage page, however, continues to show items that are not in the site anymore, in particular a video that I deleted a couple of days ago. It also continues to show a 1.6 GB daily use which is frankly ridiculous (daily visitors are ~20, according to Google).

How do I permanently delete items that don’t exist anymore? It’s driving me a bit nuts ;-)

Thanks.

Here is my site Read-Only:

You’ll need to contact support to have those files deleted, there isn’t a way to remove them from your hosting directly.

That would be ok if they wouldn’t count towards the new, lower bandwidth limit. But they do.

I’m a bit speechless, tbh…

Solution found, inspired by “Bandwidth Buddy” Jesse’s post in Reddit and his video explainer.

As it turns out, the HTML code had a few extra lines and it was loading a video in the home page. As the video did not appear in the Designer, it was impossible to find and delete. Looking at the page loading (Jesse’s instructions) allowed me to locate the buggy Code Block element.

I hope this helps…
