Hi there,
I am trying to build an app where if a user likes an item and adds it to its favourites, a webhook pushes the CMS item ID into member fields in Airtable. My plan is to have certain workflows in Airtable based on what items a user likes in Airtable.
For example: If a member likes a certain city, I want to automate a workflow where they will get newsletters about the liked city.
I have the solution to automate from Airtable, but I am struggling to find a solution to get liked CMS item into the member field in airtable.
I am using Zapier for integrations, Memberstack for memberships, and Airtable for data management.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Hi @Chetan_01
Sorry for the delay in responding here- my name is Robert and I work at Memberstack. I know you might have already come up with a solution here – I’d be curious how you did it – but I just wanted to chime in with some ideas for anyone else who might have the same question.
This is definitely doable with a Weblflow + Memberstack + Airtable + Zapier integration set up. I imagine the automated solution from Airtable involves two linked spreadsheets (maybe one with the items and one with the user account). As for transferring liked CMS items into Airtable, I think the easiest way to do this would be through a Jetboost integration (a “Booster”) that addresses this. You can read about it here. It does integreate with your Memberstack user accounts and you should be able to create a separate CMS that could populate back into Airtable.
Unfortunately, I’d have to see where trying that gets you before I can give more advice on what’ll work (it really depends on what exactly you are trying to do with those favorited items).
Again, I imagine you figured out a solution already (maybe the same one) – but let me know if I can be of any help.
