Publishing A Subdomain With Webflow

Hi Everyone,

I have a question related to subdomains and was wondering if someone with expertise could help me out, as this will be my first time creating a subdomain.

I have an e-commerce store that I designed and developed in Webflow, and then I converted it into a Shopify theme using Udesly. My site is currently hosted through Shopify.

However, I need to create a landing page for a one-off product and would ideally like to create a subdomain for this page, hosting it through Webflow since it will only be up for a limited time.

Is there a way to create a subdomain (using Squarespace domains) and then publish a page to the subdomain with Webflow while the main domain remains hosted and unaffected in Shopify?

Hi Brian, yes you can do that.

You’d just add it to your site as another hostname, e.g. myproduct.mysite.com and Webflow will give you the DNS config you need.

It’s a landing page for coming soon product so trying to avoid having to potentially reconvert with Udesly 2 additional times since the landing page will only be up temporarily
