I understand webflow tries to optimize my images given their rendered size, however I wish to use a higher resolution version in a few places and am wondering if there’s a way to customize the image size that should be used (either at specified breakpoints or in general)?
Webflow’s responsive images are generated up to 3200px wide—are you normally using images that are larger?
It doesn’t state it specifically, but I believe it will render the Original resolution if you’ve got an image larger than that 3200px width and you’re also displaying it at a width larger than that. Images are served based on the size you’re trying to render them at, but you can always disable the feature for a specific image by using the CMD/CTRL+SHIFT+O shortcut:
