Need to create a PDF viewer / pdf opens in window

As for as I can tell this issue is still unresolved in Webflow. Creating a link and attaching a pdf file to that link works perfectly on iphone. It opens in a view with a share button that gives you options to email, copy and save etc. Everything we need.

Desktop is way more difficult. It opens in a new window in Safari but the sharing options aren’t great.

In Chrome it doesn’t open at all and just downloads directly.

Is there a simple solution to this yet? Any change Webflow is working on it?

You’re right, Webflow doesn’t currently offer a perfect solution for PDF sharing with the desired functionality across all devices and browsers. While linking PDFs works on iPhones, the experience on desktops can be inconsistent.
