Navbar wont let me change colour of text on link

This is the most frusterating unituitive thing. I change colour home link to white, i go to drop down menu to change the colour to blue, it doesnt change to blue, but the other link does.

Thanks, the current green tab beside the class wasnt showing up for me, which was confusing the hell out of me, should i style links before giving them the directions for which page they should go to? i think webflow should automatically add the current greentab, thats too confusing.
