Nav Link to old page slug Webflow cache?

I recently deleted a page that my nav link bar was connected to. I changed the link to a new page. But no matter how many times I refresh my browser or try a new browser, the nav links to the old deleted page slug with a 404 error. In Designer view, the link is set to the right page. Is there an internal cache on webflow that I am missing here?

When I goto view the page the OLD slug is there and 404 page not found. I can’t figure out how to purge this old slug from the revised page. I’ve tried duplicating the page and deleting the old one. Same issue. It won’t purge the old slug from the link. ‘wvc-workshop’. This must be a caching bug.

NOTE: I am not publishing to live site. Only the staging first.

Hey, this is an interesting issue. The code shows that it should direct to /workshops, but it gives me the same issue.

When I manually change the URL to /workshops it still redirects to the wrong slug, which is strange but indicates some type of redirect set up in the site. When you change the slug of a page it gives you the option to permanently redirect old slug to new slug, maybe something is going on there, even though its a new page.

Can you share the read-only?

Sure thing!

I know what you are saying about the dialogue option that should appear when you change a slug. I didn’t get that option when I modified this page.

I figured it out. Webflow has an option to generate a redirect. It then auto-generates a 301 redirect instead of changing the page url. You manage the redirects in the project settings/hosting tab.
