My second language is not showing on publish but is fine in designer

Good day,
I am having some trouble with my secondary localisation. When I use the dropdown created on publishing, it isn’t changing the language, although it does so in the preview. My drop down tab for languages isn’t working, so I cannot select the second language although it looks like it is trying. Also my secondary languages in the menu aren’t translating correctly. It is just changing the word to a different english word. The site should actually have spanish as the primary language and english as the secondary. But now I have it all mixed up and nothing is working as it should on publish.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll need to give more detail- locale switcher is working fine, and the URL change and translated content are functioning as expected.

Nothing special, your cache likely is showing old content.
I tested on Chrome as well, try other browsers if you need to.
