Make website no more than X amount of width so that it displays fine in big monitors

I have an issue with my site. The thing is that while working in webflow the website looks fine for desktop but only in monitors with 1200 x 800 resolution. I did not think about big monitors that have resolutions of 2560 x 1600 px. On those monitors the website looks all distorted and not the way it should…

What I wanted to know how to do is make the website have a maximum width so that it doesn’t go 100% width on large monitors and the body stays the same size even when seen on bigger screens. How can I do this??

Yes. You have to use CONTAINERS from the elements list. Containers are 940px max, and always centered.

Basically, you put a section, then several containers in it, and repeat. All the content goes into containers.

So on large screens the content is nicely contained and centered.

What if i have a fixed side bar that i wanted to be contained within the 940px ?
