I’m looking to fully integrate Basin which was recommended to me by the Webflow staff.
I designed a lead generation site that requires file submission in the form (right now it’s hidden). Webflow offers its own file upload forms, but at the cost of $46/m for a full-blown business account it’s overkill and not cost effective for my client. Basin is much more practical in this sense.
First off, plugging in Basin on its own was easy to implement without any code and it works. The current quote form submits to Basin fine, and the client gets a nice looking notification.
The form breaks when I add the file uploading feature. The button style also conflicts (it’s a basic html button) with the rest of the design. Is there a way to style the file upload button?
I’ve looked through the documentation but can’t seem to figure this out… so at this point I’m willing to pay someone for a few hours of help. This is the last item on my to-do list for the client and I just need to get it done. Please let me know if you’re interested!
I closed that project, and double checked that my HTML embed is the same. Now it works! The form is submitting to Basin correctly. But I can’t see the actual attachments… here’s what I’m getting in my email and basin dashboard:
I’ve checked the code on you link and it seems to be ok. Maybe check with basin support, they might be able to point you in the right direction. Did you select POST on your form settings?
