Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a serious issue with the Webflow Localization feature.
My main site is in Portuguese, and I created a secondary version in Spanish using Localization. However, many users are being automatically redirected to the Spanish version and can’t switch back to Portuguese, even when clicking the language selector.
The issue continues even after clearing cache, cookies, and storage, and I’ve tested it across different browsers, devices, and networks. I’ve already reviewed all the language selector settings and the publishing settings for each locale.
I estimate that around 70% of users are stuck on the Spanish version, which is significantly harming the user experience and directly affecting my conversion rate.
I tried following the support team’s suggestion of using the ?r=0
parameter in the language selector, but the issue still happens intermittently — it works fine on some computers, but not on others.
I’m running out of options and really need urgent help. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?
I’d really appreciate any assistance!
