Is it possible to use Webflow CMS (or a plugin) to manage a collection of 800+ products?

Hello,
I’m building a portfolio website that will showcase 800+ products using a paid Webflow template. My questions are:

  1. Will I be able to easily update products on the backend without a CMS?

  2. Do I need to use a CMS to manage these products efficiently?

  3. I also want to filter products on the site—will a CMS with a filter plugin cover all of this, or is additional setup required?

For 800+ products you’ll definitely want Webflow CMS,manual updates without it will be painful. Filtering will need either a plugin like Finsweet’s CMS Library or custom setup, since native filters are limited. That combo should cover everything.

Adding to this, Can we rearrange the order of the product items easily? Is it the way you import or is that supposed to be done manually?
