Is it possible to create filter buttons for CMS collections in Webflow?

It’s my first time using CMS within Webflow and I’m wanting to create an event calendar. So far I’ve got it so the events show in a styled div on my page but I’m wanting to create some filter buttons that sit on top of them, like shown below:

I’ve looked online without much luck, most use third-party apps.

Lots of options,

Personally I prefer MixItUp2, but Isotope is another popular option.
Finsweet has a CMS filtering solution as well.

Used it and found it easier than another solution I’ve used before
