I have a website design in Figma, I want to try to implement it in Webflow, but I’m not so experienced in this site builder. Is it allowed to use some paid templates, that close to my design, and on a base of it create my own website, that looks quite different but uses template technical base?
And second question. In the case mentioned above, I need it only for one website for a specific company, but hypothetically, is it possible to use this kind of site as your own template for selling, if it has unique own design, but uses some technical solutions, that was build in purchased template.
When you purchase a template, you have a license to use it one one site, but you can modify it as much as you like to suit your needs. So in essence, yes you’re fine. Note that your site is “bound to” that template permanently even if you radically modified it, so e.g. cloning it might require an additional template license payment.
For creating templates for resale, no it’s unlikely you’d be able to take someone else’s template, modify it and resell it. You’ll almost certainly need to start in a blank project. and design from scratch.
