Image won't move inwards when changing display size

I can’t make the image on the right “come inwards” as the text on the left does upon shrinking the display size from desktop to tablet.
The model just disappears out of the frame.

How can I make it so the text and the model converge towards the centre?

This strategy should work until tablet size. Afterwards, I don’t know how I would layout the text and the model.

I redid the layout per the navigator screen shot. Had to undo a LOT of % and V? sizing to make the items fit.
This is just the Tablet view. You can do likewise on the other views
