I'm having an issue with the hamburger menu in the open state

Hi everyone, I have a little isse with my nav hamburger menu.

When clicked in the preview mode, there is an extra grey background that shows up beneath the last menu items and spans the entire height of the screen. I’ve check the entire forum but I couldn’t find a solution. I’d appreciate any assistance.

It doesn’t show up in the designer mode, only in the preview and on the published site on all viewport with the hamburger menu.

Here is my site Read-Only: (Webflow - Timothy Ojo Portfolio)

Try changing Nav Menu’s background color, it’s set to the default dropdown gray. This has tripped me up many times, and I wish Webflow would indicate its components have decided on a color by using the same blue “defaults changed” convention used everywhere else in the designer.

Thank you for your help. The Nav Menu background is currently transparent both in show and hide navbar setting mode.

Can you kindly share a screenshot of the default grey background you are seeing in the style panel on your end?

I was able to fix it. Apparently, the Nav Menu when in show mode was inheriting a duplicate Nav menu selectors I made for the base breakpoint. I was able to access it by selecting “all devices “ in the “menu icon for” section of the style panel under settings.

Heaving a heavy sigh of relief at last. Next level unlocked.:tada:
