how we can take selective changes from stage to production webflow

Hi Salman, you can’t.

Publishing, either to staging ( .webflow.io ) or production ( custom domain ) is always an all-or-nothing process.

Also, “staging” is a bit of a misnomer. Unlike a normal dev-test-prod environment, you don’t formally go through a test/staging phase in Webflow publishing. At any time, you publish your site to shortname.webflow.io, or to mydomain.com or to both.

The staging feature appears built to provide two conveniences;

  1. The ability to publish a site, and for clients to view it before it has been formally hosted and released on a custom domain.
  2. The ability to test specific changes and features you’re working on before the public gets to see them. This is especially useful for major layout changes, and custom code work.

But many people don’t use it at all, and it doesn’t offer anything like editorial gating controls.
