How to duplicate a CMS Collection Page?

I’m looking to make a new iteration of a single blog post template. I am hoping to duplicate the existing one to use as a starting point. When I click the cog icon for the current single blog post cms collection page, there is no duplicate icon displayed like how there is with the static pages… What am I missing?

Webflow documentation or searching internet

No way to do so (true to august 2024).

  • You can only duplicate collection.
  • Create some wrapper inside collection-page-a
  • Copy below (inside collection-page-a) the unbind the entire feilds (any binding include attributes, id, sort, filter and so on).
  • Paste to collection-page-type-b
  • Bind the fields again.

A little annoying - but for simple pages this process will take 5 minutes (Open page a in separate browser tab to compare the binding and so on).

** remember also to bind seo meta (og, title and so on).
** backup your website “mannualy” before you start

** For small tweaks you can use conditional visibility

** SEO: take in consideration the idea of blog with two root folders.
