How do i redirect all pages in one folder to a collection?

I made a bunch of static pages in a folder

site.com/folder-a/page1
site.com/folder-a/page2
site.com/folder-a/page3
site.com/folder-a/page4

I then remade this into a CMS so the new urls are

site.com/collection-a/page1
site.com/collection-a/page2
site.com/collection-a/page3
site.com/collection-a/page4

How can i redirect all /folder-a/ pages to the corresponding /collection-a/ pages?

Thanks!

To redirect an entire folder

  1. Add a capture group (.*) in the old URL structure in the “Old Path” Field (eg. /oldfolder/(.*))
  2. Add the target path %1 for new URL structure in the “Redirect to Page” field (/entirely/new-url/structure/%1).

You can add multiple capture groups to create more complex redirect rules. For example: /blogs/(.)/(.) can be redirected to /articles/%1/%2

perfect, thanks so much

Here is how it works:

  1. Open the Start menu and click your user name to open the User folder.
  2. Right-click the personal folder you want to redirect to another location.
  3. Select “Properties”
  4. Click the tab “Location”
  5. The dialog box shown below will open.
  6. Click the button “Move”
