How can I add multiple images in Slider from my CMS collection?

Hello,

I’m working on a portfolio and I’ve connected everything with my CMS collection list, including the project names and descriptions. Additionally, I want to add a slider under each project title to showcase multiple pictures for each project. However, after adding the slider to the collection list, I’m not sure how to connect it to the images I’ve assigned to each collection item. Can someone please help me with this?

Thank you!

Hello, do you see on the right “Dynamic style setting” ? Check “get BG image from…” The image will be set as background rather than an image inside of the slider

Hi yakub
QQQ
, thank you for the reply.
If I click on the “get BG image from…” it says that no field is connected. Even if I added “Slider pics” and “project images” in the CMS collection. Do I have to wrap the slider in something or do I have to put a new CMS coll. in the slider? I don’t really know how to move forward.

Hey, sure this is the link: Webflow - Giuseppe's Exceptional Site

I did something similar. It required setting up a second CMS as a reference field and then filtering out the current project. The site itself is already live, but this maybe will give you a direction to go into. Here’s the read only: Webflow - JustAGee

Hi there. I’ve been using this approach for getting collection content into a slider https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur2a4GjeSV4

If your images are in a separate collection you’ll need to use a reference field to connect the two collections.

I’ve not tried it yet with the Multi Image collection field (is that what you’re using?), so it 'may not be the solution you’re after, but it may work.
