Hosing custom domain on webflow, but email elsewhere (or host elsewhere)

So I’m a bit stuck. I was planning on hosting my web site on webflow, and somehow use google I guess to take over email services. Currently I host email and web site on a small hosting service and have Network Solutions as the registrar. Here is my problem: I can’t just simply use the simple change nameservers at NS to point to webflow as webflow will then (I guess) get my email too. If I open the NS Advanced DNS where I can do stuff I don’t understand like re-direct my email to google while hosting web on webflow, I first have to let NS host everything (change the nameservers to NS) or I can’t get into the Advanced tab. I certainly don’t want to do this as I don’t know how easy it will be to re-direct again.

Am I better off just sticking with my current hosting service and export webflow to them? I was really hoping to use webflow as a host as my current host has very poor international visibility (i.e. they block whole countries). Plus I would have to pay 2 hosting services instead of one. (although maybe I have to also pay gmail)

Hi @ssmipi

You can host your Webflow website by pointing your A-Records and CNAME to Webflow’s servers. (http://help.webflow.com/faq/how-do-i-set-up-custom-domain-hosting-with-my-webflow-site)

For your email, you can point your MX records to gmail using Google Apps (https://www.google.com/work/apps/business/)

Hope this helps

For email I recommend zoho email, you can set it up with your domain for up to 10 users for free.
