Head script code appears as body element

Hello

I just installed Finsweet cookie consent popup on a website im working on.

The GA, pixel, etc scripts appear as body elements on top of page, before navigation, on the published page. Designer shows everything correctly.

Double checked and all code and < script > are in Site Settings > Head Code

But they only appear in site < body > and none are in < head >

What causes this issue?

The issue was the code included some “non-breaking space” special characters and that’s why the scripts ended up in body and not in head. After deleteing the spaces the code works as intended.
