I’m setting up google analytics and google tag manager on my webflow site. I’m watching the video in the link below…

The video mentions setting your google tag manager code snippet as a symbol, so it can be used across paged. I did that.
However, when I go to google analytics and think about implementing the data layer, I’m a little confused. It seems like the values you put in the data layer can/should be different on each page? This goes against setting the code snippet as a symbol.
I’m curious to know if anyone uses google tag manager for their webflow site, but also uses the data layer. How did you handle this? Thanks!
