For whatever reason, our client’s sitelinks are not capitalizing properly. Their name is spelled VIUM Capital as seen in the first SERP result. However, the 2nd sitelink is spelling it “Vium capital”. You can see from the same screenshot, that the 3rd SERP result is for that same blog post, where the title is actually in all caps. Is there anyway to fix this?
Google does what it wants to in SERPs. Much of the excerpt is now being created by AI so “best practices” is a vague concept.
You should of course check your page for consistency, to ensure that you’re giving a clear consistent signal. The only other thing you can do is use the 3-dots menu on your SERP and you’ll find a report-a-problem option there. I often get good results with that.
