For hosting, do we need both A record & CNAME record?

Hi,

I want to point just my root domain xyz.com to webflow.

Now, this domain is purchased on a registrar where I cannot add MX records so this domain’s nameservers are pointing to godaddy where I host other websites & gmail etc.

In order to host on webflow, for this setup on Godaddy, do I need to only change the CNAME record to point to webflow or must I also add the A records? If there is any existing A record, must I delete it or keep it?
