Favicon is not showing up on google listing

Built this webflow site for my client and added the favicon logos with correct dimensions. I can’t figure out why the favicon is now showing up on google search. If someone could help me figure this out, that would be awesome.

You can see this if you type in ‘ez automotive santa barbara’ on google search

Hi @Matt_Kelley,

First, one thing google mentions on their documentation for favicon in search results is that:
“A favicon isn’t guaranteed in Google Search results, even if all guidelines are met.”

From there, your only chance is to follow best the guidelines to increase your chances.

I will probably start by resizing the logo you link to to min 48/48 px. At the moment, your svg is 32/32px

Good luck with that.

The webflow requirement is 32x32. I don’t think it will allow me to use another size.

Yes, it is,

  1. Add the HTML tag to the custom code with the recommended 48px size.

  2. Change the logo from SVG to png. Some browser still don’t support SVG favicon

  3. Hope for the best.

Again Webflow ignores this problem and wants their Favicon on all google results

@Matt_Kelley made a quick video for you here.

Here’s the tool I’ve used.

Let me know if you have ???
