Editor publishes unpublished design changes by accident?

Hi folks,

a very general question, just to make sure I understand. This is what happened:
I had unpublished design changes in the designer, that were not finished. Meanwhile my client logged in as an Editor and made his normal changes and published the site.
My clients publishing also published my design changes.

My question: is this what happened or is there another reason or mistake I don’t see?

Yeah, if an editor publishes the changes on the site everything that is pending will now be pushed live.
