So I’m currently working on a Webflow eCommerce site for our company. We are doing a B2B business which means we have to collect the company name of our customers. I add a text field in “customer info”. But each order we got was without the company name.
What would you guys do to get the company name by checkout? Please help
Hi @Dij_L.
Josh from Foxy here. Sorry no one has responded to your question. For what it’s worth, collecting company name (and any info you want) is possible with our seamless Webflow integration: https://foxy.io/webflow No hacks or workarounds needed. Also, any info you collect at the product, checkout, or session level is available in email receipts, dashboard, API, Zapier, Make, etc.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need help getting started: hello@foxy.io
I believe you can collect the company name if you add an “Additional Info” input in your checkout form.
Then change the telephone input to a “company name” input by changing the label and making sure the input type is “plain” and the “required” box is checked.
Thanks for your attention! @Andrew_Bass, I have changed the “phone” field to “phone & company name”. I guess somehow it will help us to get the information.
Is there any way to add another text field in additional info?
That’s great! If you checked the “required” box the customer shouldn’t be able to checkout unless they enter their company name.
Unfortunately the “Additional Info” box is the only additional input that Webflow allows you to use with checkout . The only other thing you could do is ask for the information in the “Notes” text area.
