Download and Redirect to Thanks For Downloading Page

I saw a few questions along these lines, but no answers that would really work.

Any ideas for setting up a download button that downloads a file while redirecting to a Thanks for Downloading page?

Maybe the solution would be something along the lines of setting up an download to trigger on page load? Not sure if this is possible in Webflow without custom code.

Any help is much appreciated!

Not sure if it’s possible in native WF, certainly with some custom JS.
Can you use custom code?
