Divbar Question?

Hello Webflowers,

I have made my first 2 websites, I have never built websites before this so was completely new to this, I always used a container instead of a div but now realize when on a big screen desktop it makes my websites look narrow. After doing some research I have found out a div is the same thing and I can resize and centre, so my question is whats the best size to have i am thinking 1100pxl?
