Digital Download native link

Hi,

I’m setting up my digital asset website, and I was surprised that webflow doesn’t support native digital product download links. You have to host the product externally (e.g. Dropbox, Drive etc), which a customer then receives a link to after purchase.

Can we see changes coming for this? So clients simply get a direct download link to their email that isn’t hosted externally?

Has this question been answered elsewhere? My client is concerned that the external (Dropbox) link can be shared on the internet.

No @Collin_Fry this is still the case. You can host your download file with Webflow, but it’s public and you don’t have control over the url or the ability to host it on your own domain. So most host it externally.
