Difficulty Implementing Dynamic Content Filtering in Webflow

Hello Webflow community,

I’m currently working on a website using Webflow, and I’ve run into a bit of a roadblock when trying to implement dynamic content filtering. I want to create a section on my site where users can filter content based on categories or tags dynamically.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. I’ve set up CMS Collections for my content items with relevant categories and tags.
  2. I created a dynamic list to display these items on a page.
  3. I added filter buttons (e.g., categories and tags) to allow users to narrow down the displayed content dynamically.

However, I’m facing challenges in making the filtering system work seamlessly. The interactions and conditional visibility settings aren’t achieving the desired result, and I’m not sure if I’m missing a crucial step or if there’s a better approach.

Has anyone successfully implemented dynamic content filtering in Webflow and could offer guidance? Are there specific interactions or custom code solutions that work well for this scenario? Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Here is the URL of the website https://capcutproapk.org/

Thank you in advance for your help!

HI Joe,

Webflow doesn’t have a dynamic filtering feature, you want to use Finsweet CMS filter. If you have more than 100 items in your list you’ll also want to use Finsweet CMS load, or you could use Jetboost CMS filter.
