Designer View Different from Published site... Again

This is how I want my NavBar to look. This is how it looks like in the Designer.

When I publish it, it looks like this. Why??

How can I fix this and why does the Designer not present an honest representation of what the site actually looks like?

I tried taking a peek at the live site and it looked like there was some CSS applying to the ~1200px breakpoint size that was changing the nav menu from display: flex to display: block. I’d imagine this was some custom code or an older style leftover from a deleted 1280px breakpoint.

It looks like your making some changes to the structure now so let me know if you’re still running into issues after you finish your edits.

ended up just using a grid instead. Couldn’t get flexbox to work
