Delete button removes whole section

I’ve noticed that recently, I have a hard time deleting just an element. I highlight an element and hit the delete button, the whole section is deleted.

I saw this post but it was resolved over PMs with no pubic info on what the fix was:

Here is a screen recording where I highlight an H2 element in the navigator on the right and hit the delete button:

I then Undo it, choose the H2 element within the design window and try again. Same result.

Tis a strange behaviour. This happened a few days ago for me but then, it suddenly stopped doing it. I don’t think I did anything different to elicit a change in behaviour but perhaps those who are more enlightened than I can shed some light on this for me.

That is intended behaviour for Rich Text Elements. To remove anything within the Rich Text Block, double click to edit and use the backspace/delete key.

Ah, thanks.

May I suggest an update to the Rich Text tutorial to include this detail? Maybe I missed it but this seems like it should be an important note.
