Connecting a database to a website

I want to start building a website for my client with a webflow - this is a blog, with dynamic content that should be received from mysql

We are not interested in using webflow cms - but in connecting our database.

Is there an option to do that? Even with development, is there a webflow in preparation for this?

If you want to wire up a backend driven by MySql / MariaDB and use Webflow for design you would need to export your site and add your application code to it. Sometimes it is helpful to model the CMS in Webflow and export which includes the base templates (no data ).
