Connect form to Google

Building a website for a client who collects a lot of information. This means the site will always point to three different forms. I have two questions.

  1. When it comes to collecting the data, is it possible to connect all forms to a Google Sheets?

  2. The form should allow file uploads, which doesn’t work without the e-commerce package. Is there any way to bypass this?

You can automate the Google Sheets part using an automation platform like Make .com. You’d set it up so that a new form submission creates a row in your sheet.

File uploads can be handled by UploadCare, which has a decent free plan [ but then gets a bit expensive ]. You don’t need ecom or the business plan.

I like Basin for both the form submission capture & the file uploads- no free plan but it’s cheap and very effective at managing spam.

Thanks, great reply.

There’s a small budget for it so maybe Basin is a good option.

Is it possible to connect it with Custom Libraries?

I’m not sure what this means, but if you’re asking about automation integration, yes Basin has a full API including webhooks for the form submission events.
