Components not editable in ?editor mode?

I built a site for a client and I utilized a bunch of custom elements components —to obviously speed up my process— only to realize that when adding my client as an Editor, the components are not editable >.<

All of my components have properties where the text is updated, or the link is updated etc.

This is a HUGE blocker. Any ideas if this is really like that? Or am I doing something wrong?
Is there any place I can report this?

I had to redo all sites using normal elements.

You can edit component content. Just make sure you’re using the in-page version as shown in the screen grab below

Recognizable, I also thought this was an advantage for us designers to work more efficiently, but it just doesn’t work in the Editor.

I don’t have a solution or work around yet…

Hopefully there will be a proper upgrade of the Editor at some point. Because it is really too limited, but I don’t think that is where the focus is any longer.
