How can the clients edit components without "editor"?

Clients are used to using “editor” mode to edit “non-property” content even if they are in Component. But as “editor” is sunsetting, they will not be able to do so when they change to “build mode”.

That means we have to assign property to all component content, right? But it looks like translation done on the locale of a component property stays at one instance only (translation in one place doesn’t reflect everywhere).

Wrapping it in a new component will solve the problem, but will again prevent the properties from being edited under “build” mode.

Guys, any suggestions?

I was gonna ask the same question! Webflow should’ve given a heads up before removing this feature. At least to it’s partners

Agree. But TBH, for “editor” mode, it is so out of maintenance. I also think that it should be sunsetting someday.

I am unsure if the scenario I mentioned is catered… Do I miss something or does Webflow overlook this scenario?

Update: I just received a reply from Webflow support.

They agree and recognize this scenario is an issue that needs to be solved.

So meanwhile, the clients will have to travel between Editor and Build mode.
